Feb. 23, Southern Regional Contest at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces. Register at https://nm-snmrc.nhd.org/ by Feb. 9.

March 1, Northwest Regional Contest, San Juan College in Farmington. Register at https://nm-nwrc.nhd.org/ by Feb. 16.

March 8, Central Regional Contest, National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque. Register at https://nm-crc.nhd.org/ by Feb. 23.

 

Registration fees are $15 for regional contests. Teachers, please contact Contest Coordinator Stephanie Wilson, historyday@nmhumanities.org, if you have questions or need to discuss payment options. Fees should never get in the way of student participation!

Entry Fees

Registration fees are $15 per student for the regional contests and $25 per student for the state contest. You can pay through the registration system, by check, cash or purchase order, or via our PayPal link.

Generating invoices at registration

For the National contest you pay the fees directly to NHD.

If you pay by PayPal, we collect a small service charge. If you pay by check, please make checks out to New Mexico Humanities Council or NMHC and send payment to:

When it comes time to register for contests, please be aware that students younger than 13 can NOT give consent to share their information. Please be sure that parents give consent during the registration process, either by assisting with registration or by providing a signed permission slip. (Please print, fill out, and sign this slip and have your teacher return it to the state NHD coordinator.)
