The New Mexico Humanities Council is dedicated to funding and conducting public programs for all New Mexicans, where we can inspire inclusive conversations that strengthen our civil society and celebrate diverse human experiences.
Council Conducted Programs include
Speakers Bureau to Reopen October 1!
Dear Speakers Bureau Hosts and Presenters:
We are pleased to announce that, after an eighteen month hiatus in public programming due to the Covid-19 pandemic, that we will reopen our Speakers Bureau program on October 1st. We will continue to monitor and respond to state and local reopening regulations and safety practices, and encourage our presenters and host organizations to use their best judgment and follow all applicable guidelines throughout this period.
Speakers are asked to confirm any potential bookings with the host organization and also confirm with Keelyn Byram (email@example.com; 505-633-7370, ext 101) to advise on their plans going forward. Sponsor organizations and speakers are encouraged, also, to direct questions and concerns to Keelyn at the email address and phone number listed. In addition, if you represent an organization that would like to host speakers as a NMHC partner or if you are interested in proposing or developing a program as a speaker/presenter, please also let us know! We appreciate your continued patience as we reintroduce this longstanding and well-loved program with a new roster (with some old favorites) and we welcome any questions or feedback.
Stay safe and thank you for your patience with our organization during this time.
